We are looking for a dedicated Safety Manager to lead our safety initiatives. Based in Austin, Texas, you'll report directly to the CEO in this full-time, exempt position.


Key Responsibilities:

Safety Program Development: Create and enhance safety programs to foster a culture of excellence.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with safety regulations and ensure OSHA compliance.

Training and Education: Conduct safety training sessions and equip employees with necessary skills.

Incident Investigation: Lead investigations, identify root causes, and recommend preventive actions.

Safety Audits and Inspections: Identify hazards and ensure prompt corrective actions.

Safety Reporting: Maintain accurate safety records and present reports to management.

Emergency Preparedness: Develop response plans and coordinate drills for preparedness.

Safety Equipment: Oversee procurement, maintenance, and distribution of safety gear.


What you bring to the team:

· Certifications: OSHA TTT or equivalent safety certification for construction.

· Experience: 3-5 years in safety management.

· Regulations: Strong knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations (a plus).

· Communication: Excellent presentation and training skills.

· Influence: Ability to lead and influence others towards safety priorities.

· Team Player: Collaborative and team-oriented approach.

· Technology: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office (a plus).

· Languages: Bilingual English & Spanish (verbal & written) is a plus.


Work Environment & Physical Demands:

· Physical Activity: Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, using hands, reaching, talking, and hearing.

· Stooping and Kneeling: Regularly required.

· Lifting: Ability to lift 50 pounds.

· Outdoor Work: All weather conditions.

· Travel: Anticipate 50% travel across Texas.
