Airswift has been tasked by one of our Upstream clients to seek a Facility Technical Lead to join their team in Spring, TX for an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of an extension!
Responsibilities:
Be able to mechanically design a tank battery and SWD from scratch:
Full process design and process modeling
Material selection
Pipe, valve, fitting selection meeting all relevant codes and standards
Size and write bid requests for all rotating equipment
Size and write bid requests for all skidded equipment and pressure vessels
Understanding of environmental and regulatory requirements
Understanding of equipment spacing for operability, safety, and cost
Corrosion/erosional design
Control system design
Review and approve execution plans from project engineers
Review and approve MOCs
Lead HAZOPs
Assist operations with troubleshooting and operability
Write all major equipment RFQ’s
Create and redline P&IDs and Plot Plans
Technical interface with vendors/suppliers
Teach and train other engineers
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
10 to 15 years of experience in facilities engineering within the upstream oil and gas industry.
Proficient in designing tank batteries.
Familiarity with the Permian Basin is preferred.
