JOB DESCRIPTION: Cooper/General Warehouse Labor
Located in the heart of Napa Valley, Cooperages 1912 is a fourth generation, family-owned company serving wineries throughout North America. We are seeking an addition to our current cooper team. This position is full-time and will work out of our Napa warehouse facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Cooper/General Warehouse Labor
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires the ability to reach with hands and arms frequently, sit, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel, and the candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. This position will have periods of standing for long stretches of time. This position will require exposure to high noise levels at times and occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions (heat/cold). Light production/manufacturing skills (operating band saw, table saw, power drills, drill press, hammers, chisels, etc.) will be required.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS
Pay is hourly wage; based on experience.
Full benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, paid vacation, and more.
Hours: Full time, 8-5. Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and varying shifts.

Located in the heart of Napa Valley, Cooperages 1912 is a fourth generation, family-owned company serving wineries throughout North America. We are seeking an addition to our current cooper team. This position is full-time and will work out of our Napa warehouse facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Cooper/General Warehouse Labor
- General Cooper Tasks (Barrel repairs, testing, cleaning, inspection)
- Adjunct Conversions
- Order fulfillment (pick/package/ship: barrels and adjuncts)
- Maintain inventory counts
- Forklift operation (Moving/stacking barrels and pallets)
- Following and observing all safe warehouse practices
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Must be able to read, write, speak English, and perform simple math.
- Forklift experience required (certification is a plus)
- Previous wine cellar experience is a plus.
- Previous cooper experience is a plus but not required. We will provide training for the cooper skills required.
- Individuals selected for this position must be reliable, punctual, and have a good work ethic.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime and varying shifts.
- Must be able to work with SO2.
