Summary:
We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. Reporting to the US Head of HR, you will contribute to the HR operations for both our dermo-cosmetics and pharmaceutical divisions.
This multifaceted role involves handling HR analytics and compensation and benefits programs, managing HR administration and information systems to ensure compliance with employment laws, and fostering employee development. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of HR best practices and regulations. Your expertise will also be essential in promoting a positive, caring, and productive workplace culture, in line with Pierre Fabre values.
Essential Functions:
HR Planning and Analysis
  • Partner with department heads to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies to support them.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Analyze and manage HR performance KPI's in order to improve the overall performance of the organization (turnover, recruitment times..)
  • Build the budget, and update the forecast every month for salary costs, headcount and FTE. Manage salary costs budget and headcounts and provide gap analysis when applicable.
  • Track HR department costs and invoices.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • In partnership with the corporate and regional Total Rewards team, conduct market analyses, and make salary recommendations to enhance the competitiveness and cost-effectiveness of total compensation offerings.
  • Support the salary review process and ensure fairness and internal equity by reviewing KPIs.
  • Review payroll to ensure accuracy.
  • Administer employee benefits programs for health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Educate employees about benefits options and assist with open enrollment processes.
  • Coordinate wellness programs to enhance employee well-being and promote a healthy workplace culture.
Training, Development and Performance Management:
  • Support the performance review processes by providing training, resources and guidance to managers and employees as well as technical support.
  • Identify training and development needs and collaborate with departments to design and implement relevant training programs.
  • Support the skills development and the career management of employees, offer managers action plans (internal mobility, skills development, return to performance plan, people review...)
HR Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit required federal, state and government reports, and other regulatory filings.
  • Participate in audits, such as 401k, workers compensation, and provide required documentation.
  • Hire, terminate and maintain employee personnel files and HRIS systems to ensure the information is up to date.
Talent Acquisition:
  • Partner with managers to identify key skills, review job descriptions, and ensure great advancement of recruitment plan.
  • Perform pre-hire and new hire activity, including background check, I-9 verification, communication to new hires and company-wide announcements.
  • Develop effective onboarding programs to ensure employees are set up for success.
HR Projects & Initiatives:
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives that align with company goals and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve HR processes and systems.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Competencies:
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Skill in developing strategies to attract, retain, and develop key talent.
  • Good knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR and DE&I best practices to ensure compliance and foster a diverse workplace culture.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, and mastery of Word and PowerPoint.
Required Education and Experience :
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Work Environment / physical demands / position type and expected hours of work:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting.
The normal working hours of the office are from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Full time position with 2 to 3 days per week of remote work.
