Are you an experienced leader that can manage a team that navigates houseless individuals through needs assessments with a trauma-informed lens towards diversion and/or housing placement? Are you knowledgeable of social services in Clark County and able to assist employees with de-escalation and problem-solving skills that support the houseless community? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Housing Coordinator Supervisor position!The Council for the Homeless (CFTH) operates the Housing Solutions Center (HSC), our community's one-stop access point for over 40 housing assistance programs, including emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, and programs designed for specific populations such as families or unaccompanied youth. Staff and volunteers at the HSC work with clients to assess their housing needs and connect them to their best fit housing solution, as well as connect them to services in the community that will help them on their journey toward safe and stable housing. The Housing Coordinator Supervisor assists in training community partners to collaborate with policies and procedures, and ensures the use of Coordinated Entry & Assessment best practices.Your skills and experience will directly serve our community as you:Assist with interviewing, hiring, orientation, candidate selection, performance evaluations, and training for Housing Specialists -- Housing Coordinators.Commit to ongoing learning and advancing anti-racist practices, diversity, equity, and inclusion.Create and manage the Housing Specialist -- Housing Coordinator schedule and prioritize projects.Ensure confidentiality, data quality, and a proactive, client-centered approach to meet participant needs.Communicate with the Coordinated Entry Systems Manager regarding partner agency needs, staffing, and projects.Maintain up-to-date Coordinated Entry & Assessment policies and procedures.Review program referral files for funding and grant compliance.Train staff on best practices, including client-centered approaches and trauma-informed care.Collaborate with the Coordinated Entry Systems Manager to plan and coordinate trainings.Oversee day-to-day assessment and program referral efforts in Clark County.Represent the agency at community meetings professionally.Prepare and facilitate meetings with internal staff and external partners.Pay and BenefitsThe starting salary for this position is $29.91 per hour. The full salary range for this position is $29.91 - $37.75 per hour.Full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. May be required to work a few hours on weekends and holidays when needed.Bi-lingual pay differential.100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance for the employee only.Benefits package also includes 9.11% paid into WA PERS by employer, 12 company paid holidays, and generous paid time off and separate sick time accrual.Meaningful work that addresses affordable housing and homelessness in our community.RequirementsAt least two years' experience working directly with people who are low income and/or homeless or equivalent.Commitment to ensuring there is equitable access to the local homeless crisis response system for all.At least two years' supervisory experience.Experience facilitating meetings and fostering a strong team oriented work environment.Strong organizational, communication and time management skills.Valid driver's license and access to automobile required.Preferred Education and ExperienceLived experience as someone who is low-income, homeless and/or in recovery.Speaks a langu
