Who We Are
Cisco’s Core ASIC Group (CAG) is the dynamic and innovative team at Cisco building our Silicon future! CAG is responsible for the full lifecycle development of the Silicon One chip product line that is crucial to our networking strategy. The team designs the chips, works with the semiconductor foundry, and engages with Cisco internal product teams to implement the designs into our systems. We are looking for an outstanding Chief of Staff to work hand in hand with the CAG’s Senior Vice President to help lead us into the future.
Who You’ll Work With
You will be a key part of the CAG leadership team and will collaborate cross functionally with all critical functions, and business partners including the Common Hardware Group (CHG) leadership team, P&C, Legal, Silicon Operations, and Finance. You will also work within the organization to coordinate activities, follow up on actions, and help implement an efficient and effective operating model.
What You’ll Do
In this role you will partner with the Senior Vice President of CAG and the leadership team helping to drive critical initiatives such as organization transformation, budget and workforce planning, site strategy, headcount planning, and team accountability.
- Support the SVPs vision of organizational transformation including workforce strategy planning, hiring & resource planning, and site strategy.
- Partner with Finance and CHG Operations for budget management, resource planning, and annual planning
- Partner with P&C to organize and drive talent review and reward cycles.
- Facilitate planning processes and manage deliverables needed from the Common Hardware Group
- Engage at all levels of the organization - quickly developing trust, presenting, and driving active discussions.
- Working with senior executives facilitating meetings and working through agenda items.
- Work with CHG Communications leader to plan and execute a robust internal communications strategy and employee engagement activities.
- Represent CAG in appropriate cross functional forums.
- Provide counsel and planning assistance to the SVP.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and education.
- 15+ years of progressive work experience in engineering, operations or program management.
- 3+ years of experience operating as a Chief of Staff or similar role.
- Experience with PowerPoint or other slideware presentation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with the Common Hardware Group and Cisco Networking.
- Familiarity with Cisco’s hardware development lifecycle process.
- Familiarity with the semiconductor industry.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
