Qualitative Analyst - Junior Level

ThinkTek was formed with the specific purpose of providing its clients a tailored solution around Program & Project Management, Strategic Planning, and IT Operations.


Position Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior-Level Qualitative Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and conducting analyses and studies, problem solving and conducting wargames in order to support DoD clients.


Responsibilities:


  1. Perform literature reviews, data retrieval and synthesis from multiple source types, CONOPs reviews and subsequent analyses, threat assessments, review and rework of various analyses performed by other DoD entities, and assessments of historical and potential military operations across the full spectrum of conflict.
  2. Support the design and execution of analytical wargames through research design, data gathering, scenario development, experimental design and execution, and results interpretation and documentation.

Required Qualifications:


  1. Active Secret clearance.
  2. Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science.
  3. Experience conducting formal research and assessments of military or intelligence operations, national or international security, or comparable industry and academic research.
  4. Pro-active approach to problem solving.
  5. Minimum 3 years of demonstrated relevant qualitative analysis experience.

Desired Qualifications:


  1. Degree in International Relations/Affairs/Security, Economics, History, Military History, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, or Psychology.
  2. Coursework or practical experience with Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, Formal Methods, or Operations Research.
  3. Experience with military analysis.
  4. Experience designing or conducting wargames.
