Summary:

We have an excellent opportunity in our Human Resources Department for a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for achieving talent acquisition objectives throughout the organization. Primary duties include supporting the Human Resources Department through the development and execution of recruiting plans, networking through various outlets, and employing traditional sourcing strategies while simultaneously developing new, creative recruiting ideas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage full lifecycle recruitment for all corporate and professional level roles in bakeries.
  2. In partnership with the Sr Manager, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness, develop a company-wide talent acquisition sourcing model and process.
  3. Utilize data and analytics to make decisions and recommendations on recruitment strategies, sharing and consulting with hiring managers as appropriate.
  4. Manage sourcing for professional level talent and provide leads and connections for frontline level talent in bakeries.
  5. Manage third party agency relationships in support of talent attraction and sourcing strategies. Establish guidelines for partnerships to include temporary staffing partnerships.
  6. Remain abreast with industry trends, insights and events to attract top talent at all levels.
  7. Provide insights to HR colleagues with an eye toward continuous improvement of onboarding experience.
  8. Collaborate on cross-functional HR projects as needed.
  9. SLFB follows a hybrid work structure where employees work in the office 50% of the time (2-3 days per week) and remotely for the rest. Our in-office time is used primarily for team meetings and formal and informal collaboration.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  2. 3-5 years’ experience in Recruiting, with preferred recruitment experience in both a corporate and agency setting.
  3. Exceptional communication skills.
  4. Ability to multitask and manage relationships and partnerships with a variety of stakeholders (e.g. hiring managers, vendors, HR team members) to ensure that key deliverables are met.
