Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg in Boise, ID

**Must-Have:**
- 1-year experience
- Willingness to learn and ask questions
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry
**Job Description:**
- Work in a 35-bed Medical Surgical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio generally 1:5
- Handle various patient types including orthopedic, ENT, epilepsy, and general MedSurg
- No drip titration required; common set rate drip is Heparin
- Collaborate with a charge nurse on each shift who does not take patients
- Assistant managers are available on the floor for education and support
- Participate in a 1-day orientation specific to the unit
- Fill in shifts as needed, with an attempt to group night shifts together
- Required to float to similar units as needed
- No specific scrub color required, just clean and professional attire
- Facility has a radius rule of 50 miles for candidates' permanent address
**Additional Notes:**
- Must be adaptable to floating to MedSurg floors at nearby facilities if necessary
- Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR is used for charting
- Pediatric overflow patients must qualify for adult ACLS weight, treated like adults
- Holiday and weekend coverage as required
