Insight Global is hiring for a Full-Stack Software Engineer with our large healthcare client here in Indianapolis, IN. This position will require candidates to be eligible to receive a US government secret clearance and be available for hybrid on-site work in downtown Indianapolis; typically 1 day on-site per week.
Day to day:
- Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements
- Collaborates with engineers and graphic designers, analyzes and classifies complex change requests, and reviews and evaluates possible enhancements
- Works with development team to develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare functional and/or technical specifications
- Codes and maintains complex components of information systems
- Mentors others on coding standards and performs code reviews
- Develops and performs system testing, fixes defects identified during testing, and re-executes unit tests to validate results
- Provides on-call support for system monitoring and identifying system deficiencies
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working as a full-stack developer
- Experience working with Angular, Node, Lambda, and PostgreSQL
- Experience leading small projects and/or mentoring junior team members (mentoring when needed)
- Experience with application troubleshooting
Plusses:
- Experience working with healthcare data or for CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services)** huge plus to get ppl into the tool
Compensation : $50/hour to $60/hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
