What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Full Stack .Net C# Developer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

  • Develop and maintain existing securitized products and loans trading platform.
  • Develop new Windows Forms and Windows Presentation Foundation applications for User Interface, Develop web application using Angular Framework and develop Windows Communication Services using C# .Net framework 4.0 and above. Implement C# programming including multi-threaded code development, Language Integrated Query implementation, Messaging and advanced .net 3.5/4.0+ code development.
  • Develop and support web based applications using modern JavaScript framework Angular, JQuery, Typescript, HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Develop critical messaging-based real-time feeds to send complex trade information for DTCC Confirmations and Regulatory reporting utilizing C# APIs of TIBCO Messaging framework (TIBEMS, TIBRV) and WebSphere MQ based messaging and other strategic advanced messaging technologies as required.
  • Develop extensive Oracle 19c or other RDBMS database programs for complex and efficient stored procedures, functions, views, tables and other objects.
  • Fine tuning SQL queries for performance optimizations using SQL query analyzer tools and perform database development of new packages, stored procedures, functions, views, tables, indices, etc.
  • Develop scheduled applications in C#, creating windows batch processes to automate generation of daily feeds and reports using Autosys R11.0 Job scheduler using Autosys JIL language.
  • Gather requirements and develop models for service and client side applications for residential loans warehouse application for pricing, funding and risk management of portfolios and capturing mortgage derivatives trade, position, risk and other business related information. • Contribute in system integration tests with multiple cross-asset teams, downstream applications and Quality Assurance testing team.
  • Participate in release of software applications developed into highly controlled change management process by following agile/devops process, and deployment of services on Server and Client machine in Non Production environments.

  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
