**Job Title:** Cath Lab Technician

**Shift:** Day, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years required; must have 1 prior travel assignment
**License:** Required state license or compact license
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS or ARRT R
**Must-Have:**
- Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab experience
- Interventional Cardiac Cath lab
- Cardiac Stent Placement
- Left heart catheterization
- Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
- Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
- Right heart catheterization
- Cardiac Ablation
- Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy
- Accurate monitoring
- Room circulator
- Coil Embolization
- Rotablade
- Scrub and maintain a sterile field
- Willingness to precept new permanent hires
**Job Description:**
- Preferably possess Electrophysiology lab and Intervention Radiology experience
- Engage in baseline measurements, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, and conduction studies
- Conduct Electrophysiology Evaluations, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table study
- Handle angioplasty, chest tube placement, embolization, ERCP, and gastrostomy tube placement
- Execute procedures like Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, liver biopsy, paracentesis, radioembolization, stent placement, thoracentesis, catheter/drain exchange, cystoscopy, gastroenterology, and nephrostomy
- Perform percutaneous stone extraction, renal artery stent placement, ureteral stent placement, and carotid angiography
- Conduct TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt), shockwave therapy, CMD, and peripheral interventions
- Manage upper and lower extremity angiography, endovascular interventions, and dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms/declots)
- Required to take 10 call shifts per month, with a full weekend every 4-6 weeks
- Flu vaccine required, no exemptions
- Participate in orientation: 28 hours at 50% non-billable
