Job Summary
This outstanding opportunity as a Multi-Unit Catering Manager in Long Island, NY, allows you to lead high-volume, high-end, multi-unit catering operations. You will coordinate a team of 25 professionals across 8 leisure accounts. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our catering services are completed flawlessly, offering world-class experiences to our clients.
This role requires 100% travel within Long Island, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Successfully implement strategic plans to achieve the company's financial objectives. Efficiently monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure efficient financial performance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring outstanding customer service and fulfillment.
- Lead all aspects of operational excellence to optimize efficiency. Ensure all operations meet regulatory compliance and corporate standards using standard processes.
- Lead and encourage a team of professionals, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Mentor and support staff to achieve their full potential.
- Manage administrative functions, including contract administration and office procedures, to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain the flexibility to work on weekends and travel up to 100% to handle and support various accounts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Food Service / Hospitality management is required.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in hospitality running multi-unit catering operations.
- Strong catering background for both on and off-premises locations.
- High-end social and corporate events expertise.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written formal and oral presentations.
- Skill in multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to maintain organization and control in an ever-changing environment.
- Must exhibit self-initiative, accountability, flexibility, and strong leadership skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
