OverviewKimley-Horn is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join the corporate team in our Raleigh, NC headquarters.This is an in-office role in our Raleigh office – 421 Fayetteville Street, Suite 600 Raleigh, North Carolina 27601.ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be involved in a variety of Payroll functions and will work with employees at all levels across the firm.Process semi-monthly multi-state payroll – from start to finishResponsible for creating and updating payroll reports in Business Intelligence; Data auditingAssist in processing semi-monthly timesheets and timesheet complianceWorker’s Compensation Audit – assist in preparing audit workpaperVerifications of EmploymentBack up to other payroll accountantsAssist with special projects and other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferredProven experience as a Payroll Accountant or in a similar roleKnowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulationsExperience with the following is preferred: databases and reporting; payroll software; and multi-state tax (UKG Pro and Business Intelligence reporting preferred)Experience with Microsoft Office, including intermediate skills with ExcelStrong interpersonal skills and client service mentalityAbility to work with people at all levels of the organizationHigh degree of professionalism with demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentialityExcellent organization, detail-orientation, and follow-through skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervisionAbility and willingness to learn new software applicationsWhy Kimley-Horn?At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
