ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Implement a sales action plan for the development of Group and Banquet growth in all market segments.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Establish and maintain visibility of NOPSI Hotel New Orleans with industry accounts.
  • Participation in weekly owner’s call, if needed.
  • Participation in monthly forecasting and month end recaps.
  • Actively prospect new business and secure repeat business.
  • Conduct site experiences and entertain potential and existing clients.
  • Develop strong working relationships with hotel department heads and operational areas.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls and marketing actions as requested by Director of Sales.
  • Prepare rooms only resumes to share with all hotel departments.
  • Welcome contact upon arrival at function and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review competition.
  • Attend networking functions and trade shows as needed to promote the hotel.
  • Respect guidelines of confidentiality and code of ethics in all company areas.
  • Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times.
