Executive Director - Hospice

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement goals for hospice care delivery, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a culture of professional development and compassionate care.
- Collect and analyze daily operational reports to monitor performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Manage budgets effectively, overseeing billing and financial reporting to ensure financial health and sustainability.
- Hire, train, and supervise a diverse team, ensuring all members are capable of delivering exceptional care.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, maintaining meticulous adherence to healthcare laws and policies.
- Engage with patients, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
- Oversee public relations and event management, promoting the hospice's services and mission within the community.
- Direct continuous improvement initiatives across operations, driving quality enhancements and service excellence.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- RN required or equivalent professional healthcare qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in health care, demonstrating a thorough understanding of hospice care processes.
- Proven leadership abilities with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Current CPR certification.
- Possession of a current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience at an executive director level within a hospice or healthcare facility.
- Demonstrated capability in business development and operational growth.
- Superior skills in building relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and medical professionals.
- Advanced degree in healthcare administration or related field.
- Experience in Medicaid and Medicare regulations highly regarded.
