Research Scientist Level 2 (Uncleared)

OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Research Scientist Level 2 to work in the following locations:

Baltimore, MD
College Park, MD

Required Experience: The Research Scientist evaluates and provides expert advice on the application of scientific principles and concepts. The Research Scientist also maintains substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories, staying abreast of the scientific literature and conferences. Additional experience is required in the following areas:

1. Designs, develops, and executes scientific studies.
2. Executes scientific studies.
3. Applies scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions and products.
4. May participate in the development of intellectual property.
5. Plans laboratory research.
6. May coordinate interdepartmental activities and research.

Qualifications:

1. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Physics and 9+ years of experience or a Master's degree plus 6+ years of experience or a Ph.D. Degree plus 4+ years experience.
