The ESAB Territory Sales Manager will have responsibility for driving sales growth of the company’s products with both distributors and end-users in the assigned territory. You will have the opportunity to represent leading brands including ESAB, Victor, Tweco, Thermal Dynamics, AlcoTec, and Stood, along with other ESAB family of brands. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth to and through independent distributors with experience in industrial and fabrication markets. The Territory Sales Manager will report to the Sales Director for the region. This position will be remote within the approved territory. Candidates must reside in Baltimore, MD, Harrisburg, PA, Hanover, PA, or Richmond, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective account growth plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Effectively manage a sales opportunity funnel to exceed growth objectives.
- Provide on-going training and sales support to key distributor locations.
- Maintain relationships with key end-users to ensure they receive the maximum benefits from the use of products across our full portfolio.
- Present and demonstrate products to distributor sales professionals and end users.
- Monitor competitive environment to identify opportunities and countermeasures to ensure market share gains for ESAB products.
- Complete 10+ Face to Face weekly calls supported by pre-call plans with clear objectives.
- Follow ESAB EBX systems, including all Standard Work such as call reports, sales funnels, pre-call plans, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or relevant technical field; 8+ years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of industrial sales experience, with fabrication industry or related experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with MS Dynamics or related CRM system.
- Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
