A highly successful insurance carrier is seeking a Senior Casualty Commercial Underwriter to join their expanding specialty division! These innovative commercial lines property & casualty insurance company offers top-tier specialty products and is looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Casualty Commercial Underwriter to help drive growth.
About the Role:
As Sr. Casualty Commercial Underwriter, you’ll roll up your sleeves, focus on building territory, and work closely with management to determine market penetration strategy. You'll underwrite Auto, GL, and Workers Compensation, with a primary focus on GL/Auto. Territory includes TX, OK, and LA, so relationships with brokers, agents, and wholesalers in these areas are key!
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- Bachelor’s degree (Risk Management or Environmental Sciences preferred)
- 3-5 years of commercial underwriting experience, including multi-line rating
- Familiarity with paperless work environments
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other tools
- Experience in risk selection, pricing, and account management
- Experience in specialty transportation, energy, environmental, or construction is a plus
