Our client, a green-tech start up based in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will use your experience in driving a product to market to own designs from requirement capture through to production. You will be confident designing analog and mixed-signal boards, performing integration tasks and interfacing with off-the-shelf hardware. Additionally, you will work with multidisciplinary teams on system design aspects.
The base salary for this role ranges between $150k - $165k, dependant on skills and experience, complemented by equity packages. Additionally, the company provides comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as PTO.

Duties will include:
- Design and develop electrical schematics and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for fault-tolerant and safety-critical control systems.
- Lead engineering efforts for electrical instrumentation and subsystems.
- Collaborate with a talented and diverse team in the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-power electrical control systems.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Extensive experience designing electrical hardware.
- Practical experience taking a product through a full lifecycle and getting a product out to market.
- Competent in schematic design, PCB layout, PCB bring-up, and prototyping (preferably using Altium).
- Knowledge of low power electronics.
- Analog & mixed-signal board design experience.
