Job Description

We require a highly skilled data scientist/analyst to support our digital marketing strategy team. The successful candidate must excel in analyzing extensive data sets to find opportunities for targeted and scalable data science initiatives. This includes extracting valuable insights to guide the development of marketing, digital, and sales programs.

The ideal candidate will not only possess robust expertise in various data mining and analysis methodologies, but also a comprehensive knowledge of algorithm creation and usage. They should be adept at crafting and running simulations and have a consistent track record of driving business outcomes through data-based insights. Equally important, they should thrive in a collaborative environment and be comfortable working with diverse cross-functional teams and partners.

We are looking for a candidate with strong data analysis skills and a deep-seated passion for improving key performance indexes through collaborative teamwork. This role is crucial to our company's success, and we want someone who shares our commitment to excellence.

Objectives of this role

  1. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to understand their needs.
  2. Use statistical models for data analysis, both descriptive and inferential purposes.
  3. Design and conduct experiments to make causal inferences.
  4. Develop visualizations to present the results of data analysis and experiments.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for internal- and external customer needs and collect large structured and unstructured datasets and variables.
  2. Devise and apply algorithms and models to mine big-data stores; perform data and error analysis to improve models; clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy.
  3. Use machine learning models to understand trends, segmentation, forecasting, and behavioral maps.
  4. Create PowerBI dashboards for data visualization.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  1. Knowledge of digital marketing platforms like Adobe Analytics, Claravine, Eloqua, etc.
  2. Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
  3. Experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling through machine learning.
  4. Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (ex: Python, SAS).
  5. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, innovative group that runs global, cross-functional projects.

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in statistics, applied mathematics, or related field.
  2. Two or more years of project management experience.
  3. Two or more years of data analytics or data science experience.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $104,600.00-$139,400.00. This Position May Also Be Eligible To Receive a Variable Annual Bonus Based On Company, Team, And/or Individual Performance Results In Accordance With Company Policy.
