We are looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager focused on building relationships through amazing service and communication skills. Must have a passion for helping customers become educated when making insurance-buying decisions. The key to this position is a strong working relationship with the producers.
Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values
The Account Manager will work with the Personal Line Sales team and directly with customers in the following functions:
Professionalism

• Process incoming/outgoing phone, mail, faxes and emails
• Obtain information for coverage request from client/producers
• Qualify clients for eligibility

Accountability

• Electronically prepare/submit applications to companies (using AMS360)
• Electronically check all endorsements received from company for correctness and compliance with request
• Cooperate with other departments in soliciting additional lines of coverage not currently written by the Agency

Initiative

• Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of represented carriers and competitors, policy forms, product benefits and features
• Compare rates and determine accurate premiums (electronically and manually)
• Review renewals 60 days ahead of expiration date for premium changes and coverage recommendations. Contact customers prior to their renewal with recommended coverage options, review premium savings coverage options and reinforce current policy benefits

Adaptability

• Electronically prepare change requests as required
• Handle walk-in and call-in or bank referred Personal Lines prospects (unless a Personal Lines Producer is assigned to your location)
• Be available for insurance company meetings when requested

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills showing proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and AMS360
• Minimum 2 to 5 years in Insurance Account Management
• Insurance designations a plus: CISR, CIC, CPCU, CLU, etc.
• Missouri Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable
