SAP IT Consultant, WMS

Our Cleveland client is seeking a SAP IT Consultant, WMS to join their team. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes related to warehouse management and identify opportunities for system improvements using SAP WMS.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP WMS modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP WMS with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, EWM) and third-party systems.
• Provide technical and functional support for SAP WMS, troubleshooting issues and resolving system discrepancies.
• Lead and participate in SAP WMS upgrade projects, including system enhancements and version migrations.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user training materials.
• Conduct user training sessions and workshops to ensure effective utilization of SAP WMS.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize warehouse operations and inventory management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP IT Consultant with a focus on Warehouse Management Systems.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP WMS configuration, implementation, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Proven experience in managing SAP WMS projects from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues within SAP WMS.
