**Job Title:** CT Technologist, Radiologic Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Diagnostic Imaging
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Day shift, Monday through Friday with shared on-call responsibilities
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in an Acute Care setting preferred
**License:** Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist Licensure (CRT)
**Certifications:** BLS Certification required; American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) preferred
**Must-Have:**
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program with an Associate of Science Degree
- Experience in at least two imaging modalities
- Flexibility to cover holidays, weekends, and on-call shifts
**Job Description:**
- Understand and perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist.
- Demonstrate knowledge of imaging equipment across various modalities, including radiology and CT.
- Provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety-related criteria appropriate to the patient's age.
- Skillfully position patients for optimal imaging results.
- Operate with minimal supervision while consistently producing quality images.
- Organize self, equipment, and supplies efficiently.
- React quickly and efficiently in emergency situations and equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain stocked supplies and report any issues or back orders.
- Demonstrate effective communication and assist medical staff, patients, and coworkers efficiently.
- Change priorities on short notice as required.
- Maintain and access proper documentation, records, and files for all modalities.
- Adhere to patient confidentiality and punctuality for work hours and callbacks.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and observe all hospital policies.
- Assist with answering phones and patient scheduling.
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure equipment safety standards.
- Evaluate patients for appropriate behavior, motor skills, and signs of abuse or neglect.
- Use appropriate shielding and adjust contrast media for different age groups during exams.
- Share call and work schedule equally within the department.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) monitoring as required.
- Consistently work within the scope of practice as set by the California State Board of Radiology.
- Conduct other duties as assigned.
