Job Description

1. BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
2. 8+ years overall system architecture, design, development, deployment experience
3. 4+ years cloud architecture experience
4. Strong scripting skills infrastructure/deployment automation and configuration management experience along with experience working with tools like Ansible, Chef and Puppet, and Salt is a plus.
5. Proven knowledge of networking concepts and services for security, reliability and scalability
6. Hands-on experience building and managing virtualized environments; AWS and/or Azure experience is a big asset. Current AWS or Azure certifications are a plus.
7. Working knowledge and experience with elastic cloud automation
8. Hands-on experience with a breadth of technologies across operating systems, application servers, database and middleware infrastructure; being comfortable with both Linux and Windows environments is required
9. Experience with build tools such as Ant, Maven or Gradle
10. Provides Cloud Security SME advice and guidance related to all activities including Information as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) initiatives, projects, plans, and reviews.
11. Experience developing in rapid development modes such as Scrum or Kanban
12. Able to clearly articulate technology direction and considerations and present solutions to clients and software teams at various stages from sales to execution
