Senior Cost Accountant - Houston, Texas

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Cost Accountant for their corporate office. This position is newly created and highly visible and reports directly to the CFO. This is a permanent opportunity with excellent benefits and a generous PTO program.

1. Must be familiar with developing and managing standard costs from the ground up.
2. Strong understanding of standard costing, with experience in building the underlying accounting.
3. Ability to build all the required variance reports each week to present to our executive team.
4. Manufacturing & Distribution Experience.
5. Bachelor's Degree.

Base salary $80k-$90k +/-
