CoreVest American Finance (CAF) Capital Markets Team is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead the team overseeing pricing, structuring, hedging, and execution of debt capital markets transactions to support originations of loans to investors of residential properties. This role is also responsible for developing and maintaining the CoreVest brand acting as a liaison between Capital Markets, investment banks, capital partners, and investors. The incumbent must maintain a strong knowledge of loan and securitization pricing trends, a broad understanding of mortgage markets both agency and non-agency, have an in-depth comprehension and practical application of CoreVest’s credit lending policies, counterparty legal documents, and source for and secure new investors.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Include the following but not limited to, other duties may be assigned.

  • Works with the Chief Investment Officer to implement capital markets initiatives, oversee strategy and product positioning, develop new products, expand distribution channels, execute transaction financings and identify growth opportunities
  • Oversees extensive financial modeling to evaluate, structure, innovate, hedge and execute debt capital market transactions
  • Identify, analyze, and execute organic and third-party security and whole loan investment opportunities
  • Manage the origination pipeline hedging and securitizations across multiple asset classes
  • Examine market color and trends to formulate asset pricing based on optimal disposition channel
  • Reviews comprehensive company, industry and market research
  • Designs and leads presentation materials for executive meetings
  • Organize rating agency meetings, lender meetings, and detailed transaction marketing materials
  • Draft business plans for innovative debt products and businesses
  • Maintain professional and productive relationships with bankers, investors, and capital partners
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Capital Markets Team

Minimum Requirements: The responsibilities listed below are required. Accommodations may be made to enable the individual with disabilities to ensure the individual can perform the essential functions and responsibilities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Real Estate
  • Significant finance background with 10+ years of finance experience at an investment bank, financial advisory firm, a real estate law firm or investment firm
  • Expert knowledge of bond cash flow modeling and associated modeling tools, Intex, Bloomberg
  • Ability to communicate complex topics clearly, briefly, and effectively verbally or in writing
  • Ability to work in high-paced, fluid environment, providing accurate information frequently on very short timelines
  • Willingness and ability to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally
  • Significant desire to build, lead, and grow a business
  • Software fluency must include Intex, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power-Point and Bloomberg
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks, and projects
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and work effectively as part of a team
