LLH Recruitment Solutions seeking an Accountant for a Contract To Hire position, Monday Friday 8 AM 5 PM for one of our clients, in the Phoenix, AZ metro area.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. If you are a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of financial principles and a passion for precision, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile financial records, create journal entries and post to general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile balance sheet Accounts
- Backup support for Payroll team
- Assist with in preparing month end and post month end financial analysis
- Contribute to and maintain the budgeting and forecasting process
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to read financial statements
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or 4 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- CPA certification is a plus
- Soldi excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups)
