Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Project Manager with experience in the airline industry to oversee and manage complex IT infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in infrastructure, excellent project management skills, and familiarity with airline systems and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage multiple infrastructure projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers, system administrators, and airline IT staff to ensure seamless integration and performance.
3. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
4. Oversee infrastructure upgrades, network optimizations, and system migrations.
5. Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
6. Identify potential risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and develop mitigation strategies.
7. Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
8. Ensure compliance with industry standards, airline regulations, and IT governance frameworks.
9. Utilize Agile methodologies to drive project success, adapt to changing priorities, and manage continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 11+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure projects, preferably in the airline industry .
3. Proven experience managing projects in networking, server management, data centers, and cloud infrastructure.
4. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including network protocols, data storage, security, and disaster recovery.
5. Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Familiarity with FAA regulations and airline operational systems is highly desirable.
8. PMP or Agile certification is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
