Pay rate: $16.75- $17.00
Position type: Variable hours – health benefits after 1 year and 1456 hours worked.

Job Description Summary:
Laundry Personnel works in various areas in laundry, including sorting, destaining by hand, washing, drying, folding in detail, packing up supplies, and operating the iron machine. The Laundry Lead is responsible for training and guiding team members to ensure high productivity when the supervisor is not present. They must communicate clearly with Housekeeping Management, maintenance, cart drivers, and laundry staff.
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum 6 months to a year experience with the guidance of the Supervisor.
- Be open to cross-training.
- Tendency towards thoroughness with attention to detail.
- Effective time-management skills.
- Ability to take direction and contribute to a team atmosphere.
- Availability to communicate and lead a team.
- Ability to make decisions, be adaptable, and work as a team.
- Ability to process and work with guidance and corrective suggestions from the Supervisor.
- Verbal communication skills in Basic English and Spanish.
- Understanding of the laundry manual.
- Ability to load with caution (40lbs).
- Ability to climb stairs with loads and lift objects above the head.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stretch carefully.
- Skills in providing fast service while maintaining composure under stress.
- Flexible and willing to adapt schedules to meet business demands.
- Motivation to serve the public and find work without constant supervision.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory background check.
- Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to safely operate laundry and sewing machines.
- Good personal hygiene and respect for co-workers.
- Must not be allergic to chemicals.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain a clean and tidy uniform, well-groomed and ready to work.
- Address any issues with the Supervisor ahead of time.
- Create a pleasant work atmosphere.
- Be a team player, showing enthusiasm while helping others.
- Sort all types of laundry.
- Wash necessary linens including towels, tablecloths, rags, curtains, blankets, and uniforms.
- Dry clothes and organize them for folding.
- Fold various items by hand and using machines as needed.
- Operate the iron machine and pack folded items.
- Be informed of the services Campbell’s offers to guests.
- Maintain responsibility for assigned areas and conduct final inspections.
- Complete inventories and follow activity lists.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Clean designated areas and assist team members at the end of the day.
Types of position and hours of work:
This is a variable-hour position, with expected work hours based on seasonal volume, business demand, and operational hours. Flexibility for weekends, nights, and holidays is required.
