About The Role
We seek a motivated Business Development Director with a hunter mentality who excels in relationship-building and driving new business. You'll engage with a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to enterprise accounts, adapting swiftly to market changes. What You'll Do
  • Drive New Business: Proactively prospect, identify, and generate leads to grow InterEcho's client base while leveraging your existing network to build meaningful relationships with decision-makers.
  • Re-engage Dormant Accounts: Reactivate former clients and underutilized accounts, transforming them into valuable partnerships.
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Meet with clients to understand their localization needs and showcase how InterEcho can enhance their global communication efforts.
  • Ignite Client Interest: Secure client enthusiasm for our services, with the leadership team supporting you in closing deals.
  • Maximize Revenue Opportunities: Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities within both new and existing accounts to enhance revenue growth.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Collaborate with clients to secure service agreements that align with their needs, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Field-Focused Role: Enjoy a hybrid work model, spending 2-3+ days a week in the field meeting clients and prospects, with flexibility for remote work when not on-site.
  • Mentor Junior Team Members: Share your expertise with junior business development reps, guiding them toward success.

Where You'll Work
You'll be based at InterEcho's headquarters in El Segundo, CA , but will primarily work in the field, meeting clients and prospects. A flexible, hybrid schedule is available when you're not on-site.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years of business development experience in B2B services, including cold outreach
  • Hunter mentality with a proven track record
  • Established network
  • Strong commission-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Bonus: Experience in localization, production, or advertising industries
