Compensation: Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from $140,000 to $180,000 annually.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute tax strategies that optimize financial profiles across the board, significantly reducing liabilities and enhancing compliance with ongoing changes in tax legislation.
  • Take ownership of the comprehensive preparation and submission process for all required tax filings, ensuring meticulous accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Offer high-level tax advice tailored to the intricacies of the financial services industry, helping clients navigate complex issues and make informed financial decisions.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of tax professionals, enhancing their skills and fostering a culture of excellence within the firm.
  • Commit to staying ahead of the curve on tax law developments, ensuring both the firm and its clients maintain full compliance amid regulatory changes.
  • Engage in detailed research on challenging tax queries, synthesizing data into actionable solutions and strategies.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Identify and act upon opportunities for service expansion and cross-selling, thereby driving the firm's growth and client satisfaction.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in taxation, specifically within the financial services domain.
  • Proficient knowledge of tax codes and regulations relevant to the financial services sector.
  • Strong abilities in leadership, encompassing team management, mentorship, and development.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, critical for managing client relationships and team interactions.
  • In-depth analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Unyielding dedication to quality, with a keen eye for detail in all aspects of work.
  • Advanced competence with Microsoft Office Suite and common financial software tools.
