Duration- 12 Months Contract
Location- Manassas, VA 20110 (We can support both remote and on-site)
Job Description-

• Will the contractor be expected to travel? If yes, how often?: Occasionally to support design reviews or aircraft integration.
• Size of the Team: 10-15
• See above for required skills, need 5+ years' experience in industry to hit the ground running, engineering degree preferred, but not required if successful in industry for many years.
• Software skills required: Catia V5
• What similar companies do you like to see candidates from?: It seems that Gulstream, Hondajet, Textron Aviation (Cessna), and parts of Boeing all use similar toolsets that we do, and those folks can hit the ground running.
• What will the interview process look like? (ex: phone, in person, panel, etc.) 30-40 min phone screen (Microsoft Teams)

Roles and Responsibility

• Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews. Develops and maintains electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develops basic statements of work. Participates in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design. Works under general direction.

Required skills/qualifications:
1. Catia V5 knowledge
2. Aircraft experience
3. Electrical/Avionics equipment installation experience and/or
4. Wiring Installation experience
Preferred skills/qualifications:
1. Catia V5 Electrical Workbench Experience
2. Electrical theory background
3. Composites knowledge
4. Mentor Graphics Capital Logic and Harness XC
