A Case Manager in Juvenile Justice develops Needs Assessment Service Plans,coordinates treatment services with providers/ families and makes treatment recommendations to the Courts. You will provide security,supervision and control of youth with complex behavioral problems and provide directions to ensure that adequate standards of conduct,health,safety,housekeeping and recreation are maintained. Principal DutiesOversees and works closely with high risk/ violent youth with complex behavioral problems.Assesses client physical,mental,social and behavioral needs.Develops and implements individualized treatment plans.Conducts individual,family,or group therapy sessions in accordance with the established treatment planIdentifies and apply appropriate security,safety,and control intervention techniques.Provides career guidance including alternative treatments,rehabilitation equipment and its proper use,and methods to evaluate treatment effectiveness.Supervises youth with complex behavioral needs.Writes court reports,parole summaries,treatment plans and supervision standards.Acts as an expert witness. Gives testimony and /or recommendations in court cases and/or hearings.Leads or functionally supervise staff; delegate work assignments,monitor/review quality of work,schedule staff,provide technical assistance or training,provide input on performance appraisal,hiring and discipline.Makes decisions consistent with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.Speaks clearly,concisely and effectively. Be able to listen to (and understand) information as presented verbally.
