We're searching for a strategic storyteller and impactful business leader who can bring an industry perspective to our approach for leading visualization-based products and services. 80% of Autodesk platform services use Autodesk Viewer, which is a critical capability across the entire ecosystem. Autodesk's Design and Make Data Platform offerings are more than APIs, SDKs, and services; they are a thriving ecosystem and marketplace that propels digital transformation and fuels innovation.

You'll join an elite team of product managers. You will forge relationships and work closely with a diverse array of stakeholders: your customers, product teams across Autodesk, other Autodesk Platform Services teams, as well as marketing and customer advocacy groups. Your strong industry perspective will be instrumental in defining how data is accessed, viewed, and optimized across product, teams, and workflow boundaries, providing the essential infrastructure for Autodesk Viewer.

You will report to a Director of Product Management Product Data Platform.

Responsibilities

  1. Define the vision and roadmap for visualization-centric products
  2. Cultivate relationships with architecture, engineering, and product teams across Autodesk and different regions
  3. Recognize market opportunities in multiple regions and guide the Product vision and strategy, including decisions on building in-house versus buying
  4. Manage product lifecycle from concept to beta to GA
  5. Collaborate directly with Autodesk product teams to outline, prioritize, and plan the development of new capabilities and services
  6. Convey the value of our products to customers, differentiating Autodesk's offerings from competitors, and create and manage a robust go-to-market plan
  7. Represent the product at customer sites, conferences, and other external venues, showcasing Autodesk's understanding of the industry and the competitive market
  8. Synthesize customer feedback and analyze quantitative data to draw insights, make informed decisions, and measure the success of a product

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 5+ years of experience
  2. 3+ years of people management experience
  3. Demonstrated experience cultivating high-performing teams
  4. Experience communicating to convey product vision, requirements, and strategies across teams while building trusted partnerships with stakeholders
  5. Expertise with leadership, cross-functional partnership, and collaboration across a matrixed organization
  6. Willingness to work with international teams spread throughout the globe
  7. A BS Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience applying industry standards like IFC, UK BIM Framework, ISO-19650 and more to data workflows
  2. Knowledge of open standards such as USD, gLTF etc. and how it enables an open ecosystem
  3. Awareness of scrum/agile methodologies and comfortable to lead and drive during ambiguity
  4. UX understanding and experience building visualization-based products
  5. Demonstrable time management skills

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $151,400 and $244,860. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
