Position Overview:

Manages all aspects of operations finance, including budgeting, forecasting, standard cost, variance analysis, KPI’s, inventory, and capital.

What you will do:

  • Design, maintain, analyze, and distribute operation reports to management and operation teams.
  • Be a trustworthy business partner with the Operations team.
  • Responsible for leading budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Manage CPA process which includes origination, analysis, approval, and tracking.
  • Responsible for fixed asset management, tagging, in-service, and disposals.
  • Manage inventory control process including cycle count program and root cause analysis.
  • Analyze inventory movement and implement best practices for inventory flow and control.
  • Manage various reserves for E&O, NCR and other inventory controls.
  • Maintain and update standard cost.
  • Analyze monthly results including variance analysis on standard cost.
  • Manage VIP reporting which includes analysis and tracking of cost reductions.
  • Assist operations with analysis including make vs. buy and other operational improvements.

Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • 15+ years of budgeting, forecasting, & analysis experience.
  • 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • 10+ years of managing standard cost.
  • 10+ years of managing others in costing roles, manufacturing, and analysis.
  • 10+ years of inventory flow and accuracy.
  • 10+ years of fixed asset and capital management.
  • Proven success leading a team in multiple locations with a focus on continual development.
  • Project management, ERP implementation and BI.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, Sum ifs, VLOOKUP’s, etc.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, multi-task and possess strong organizational skills.
