Job Summary:
Velox is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The position involves receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments, managing inventory, and preparing orders for construction crews. The role involves loading/unloading trucks, operating warehouse equipment, and coordinating material deliveries with project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring accurate records of stock levels.
  • Prepare and fulfill orders for construction crews, ensuring the correct materials and equipment are available for daily operations.
  • Load and unload trucks with materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring safe handling procedures.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Coordinate with project managers and field crews to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and assist with stock replenishment.
  • Assist with the return, repair, or disposal of damaged or outdated materials.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize material flow and minimize project delays.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or utility construction.
  • Familiarity with construction materials and tools, particularly those used in utility projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs or more) and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
