Position: Temporary Seasonal Student Worker - Social Media Support for the Graduate School
FLSA: Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations)
Schedule: This part-time position will work from the Augustine Institute campus in Florissant, Missouri. This position is 10-15 hours weekly.
Reporting to: Director of Admissions
Position Summary
This position reports to the Director of Admissions and supports the work of the Social Media Manager. The role enhances the Graduate School's social media presence with the primary goal of capturing student life and attracting new students to the program. The social media student worker will support increasing engagement of the graduate school's social media through authentic content/images that highlights student life, the faculty, and major events and deadlines.

- Collaborates with the Social Media Manager and the Director of Admissions to determine social media needs
- Assists with the company's social media accounts and posting content
- Takes high quality photos and videos of the on-campus life, giving followers an inside look at our common life of prayer, study, recreation, and fellowship
- Work with the Marketing team to promote the Institute's recreation's facilities, degree programs, services, and special events through photography
- Assist fellow team members with the creation of visual content for social media
- Finds creative and interactive ways to promote the graduate school
- Engages with followers and potential students through social media interactions
- Interviews professors and students for video content (pending videography experience)
- Assists with post-production video editing (pending videography experience)
- Current full-time AI on-site student in good standing
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Photography experience
- Highly creative
- Experience with social media platforms
- Excitement to capture on-campus events and community life
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, English/Journalism is a bonus
- Graphic design experience a bonus (Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator)
- Videography experience a bonus (Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Adobe After Effects)
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom
- Understand the foundations for photography (exposure, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, rule of thirds, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a productive and collaborative member of team
- Excellent skills in communicating and interacting professionally both verbally and in writing
