Job Description:

Baker Tilly is deeply committed to the public sector industry with a deep bench of industry-fluent subject matter specialists to serve public sector entities and their unique challenges. This position will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning Baker Tilly’s full suite of accounting and advisory services to the public sector and generate long-term revenue growth.

Specifically, this individual will:

  • Understand all key public sector service offerings and explain their application to key decision-making executives.
  • Conduct discussions with decision makers to understand requirements, risk areas, and solution formulation.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to identify solutions that address client needs.
  • Perform regular follow-up on all Firm-generated leads and maintain an up-to-date pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Attain closed business revenue goals associated with both new and existing client accounts.
  • Collaborate with other Business Development leaders for an integrated Go-to-Market approach.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in a related field; Graduate degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in the public sector or professional services provided to the public sector.
  • Advanced knowledge in public administration and economic development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25-40% as needed.

The compensation range for this role is $201,400 to $435,130. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
