Your Role
As a Sales Development Executive is a Full-Cycle Sales role, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new advertising and partnership opportunities. Your excellent communication skills, business acumen, and strong relationship-building capabilities will be crucial in establishing and nurturing long-term partnerships with brands and businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced digital media industry and contribute to the continued success of our platform.
This is a 'hunter role' - the goal is to find new clients and new opportunities across a very vast industry.
Your Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Prospect, identify, and engage potential advertising partners, agencies, and businesses to promote our digital media site as a premium advertising platform. Establish a robust pipeline of potential clients and effectively manage the sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively presenting our digital media site's advertising solutions to potential clients. Develop customized advertising proposals that align with clients' marketing objectives and demonstrate the value of partnering with our platform.
- Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current advertising partners and clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities for growth and partnerships. Leverage this knowledge to tailor our offerings to meet the evolving needs of the market.
- Collaborative Campaign Planning: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, content, and design, to develop integrated advertising campaigns that align with clients' objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign performance data and provide clients with actionable insights and recommendations for optimization. Continuously track and report on the success of advertising campaigns to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate advertising contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms and conditions are aligned with company policies and objectives.
- Networking and Industry Events: Represent the digital media site at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and build relationships with potential partners.
- Prior hands-on experience selling to senior marketers (CMO, VP) at companies of all sizes
- A track record of exceeding revenue targets
- A track record of consistently and reliably advancing existing and new clients through the sales pipeline to the close stage
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of our digital media site to potential partners effectively.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills to secure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Understanding of digital media advertising trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and provide actionable insights to clients.
- Proactive and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong relationship-building skills to foster long-term partnerships with clients and advertisers.

- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, ad tech, and programmatic advertising is a plus.
