Job Description

Olsson’s rail traffic experts provide clients with a single resource for services such as traffic signal preemption design, grade crossing safety design, traffic operations studies, and other related services. As an Experienced Traffic Engineer for the rail program, you will assist with traffic and preemption analysis/design, perform site visits, assist with plan or study preparation, and work closely with others on complex projects.

*Olsson currently has one opportunity for an Experienced Engineer located in Irvine, CA, Salt Lake, UT, Denver, CO, or Phoenix, AZ.

You bring to the team:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4-10 years traffic or transportation engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar software)
  • Proficiency in Synchro (or similar software)
  • Strong problem-solving and math skills
