The mission of this full-time position is to provide support and perform tasks for the Finance Department.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Monthly reconciliation of corporate card and bank statements, Advisor/Agency expenses, Fixed Asset Register, and various GL accounts.
  • Review weekly Revenue files and enter in accounting software.
  • Assist in preparation of Monthly closing file, financial reporting package for executives and quarterly shareholder reports.
  • Assist in Year End closing entries and payments.
  • Process electronic payments.
  • Process various Advisor expenses.
  • Partner with external accountants in the annual financial statement audit.
  • Analysis of various income statement trends with respect to expenses as well as expense variance to budget.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks for the Accounting Manager, Director of Finance, CFO, and CEO.
Other duties may be assigned to meet the business needs.

Education, Training & Experience
  • BS - Business Administration with Accounting emphasis.
  • 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience required.
  • CPA or CMA is a plus.
Computer Equipment and Software
Proficiency in the use of computer programs for:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Above average proficiency in Excel
  • Access experience a plus
  • One or more general ledger systems
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
