Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, a full-service law firm of 300 attorneys with 16 offices that are located across New York State, as well as in Boston, Kansas City, FL and NJ, is seeking an Intellectual Property (IP) Attorney with at least two years of experience to join the firm’s growing and sophisticated Intellectual Property practice. Note: USPTO registration is required.
Work Locations: Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse, NY.
A hybrid work arrangement is possible, but the successful candidate must reside within a commutable distance from the office locations listed.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must have outstanding academic credentials and excellent communication skills with at least 2 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
- Candidates will also preferably have experience with intellectual property litigation and/or trademark prosecution and enforcement.
- While all technical disciplines will be considered, candidates will preferably possess an undergraduate or advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or mechanical engineering.

The salary range at the Associate level is $110,000 to $150,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, skill set and office location.
