Job Summary:
The Associate Director of Sales is responsible for leading and managing assigned account executives to ensure the maximum sales volume and profitability for the organization’s products and services, supporting and growing the network of enterprise-wide clients. The Associate Director of Sales will be a mentor to the Account Executives to incorporate a creative and analytical approach in connecting clients with services that drive value for the organization. The Associate Director of Sales is required to deliver individual and team results, possess a strong interest in strategy, relationships in sales, analytics, and business development.


Duties / Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage assigned account executives, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure consistent performance and meeting or exceeding their KPI’s for sales activity.
  2. Manage the sales budget to exceed and attain target.
  3. Build strategy for industry-specific clients.
  4. Develop strong relationships with clients and deliver high levels of client care.
  5. Prospecting new clients and qualifying them through the funnel.
  6. Manage multiple prospecting activities at the same time.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and partners to understand their needs, requirements, objectives, and target audience to ensure services are provided successfully.
  8. Utilize the company CRM program to maintain all sales activity.
  9. Ensure that all client jobs are processed properly and are completed properly to ensure client satisfaction.
  10. Review and approve ROI business cases, presentations, coordination of terms of the sale.
  11. Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports of all forecasting, sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities for the team.
  12. Maintain effective communication between departments within the organization to ensure maximum success, improved business processes and positive client service.
  13. Participate at industry events, PCC boards and trade shows as required.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is highly preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years working in a Sales Representative, Sales Supervisor, Sales Manager, or other relevant area of work focused on sales and sales management activities.
  3. CRM experience (Hubspot or Salesforce).

  1. Sales KPI’s for themselves and the team.
  2. Quality results.
  3. Time/management/attendance.
  4. Completion and acceptable results of scheduled training.
  5. Safeguard all Compliance Regulations (HIPPA, PHI, Financial Data, Security, etc.).
  6. Response Rate.
  7. Cost Per Acquisition.
  8. Revenue generation.
  9. Pipeline management.
  10. Market expansion.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a workstation.
  2. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at a time.
  3. Must be able to work Monday – Friday and be on-call as needed.
  4. Willing to travel 40% of the time for overnight stays in other locations in which the company has or will set footprint.
