Your Charter
Under the Interim Director, Enterprise Systems, support the Broad's Enterprise Systems and Data Management strategy, full technology stack, and operations by designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Enterprise Systems and Data Management and cross functional reporting. Working alongside the Director and other team members, this role will be instrumental in the implementation, and support of tools (Informatica, GCP & Tableau) to support Enterprise Systems and Data Management, Governance, and Business Intelligence and critical post go live support for advanced level central and cross functional reporting needs.
Technical Skills
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions; creating logical and physical models for Relational and Dimensional Databases.
- Experience in developing database languages: SQL, Data Definition Language (DDL), and Data Manipulation Language (DML) using ANSI SQL; developing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) solutions using Informatica (Power Center and Power Exchange).
- Experience in reporting and dashboards development using APIs, ETL, REST, XML.
- Experience in working with product managers, subject matter experts (SME), product owners, business analysts, and data engineers to understand requirements and create logical and physical data model designs optimized for target data environments.
- Derive and enhance data models through requirements gathering with developers and end users.
- Direct experience with Informatica data integration, data quality, and data catalog toolsets.
- Deep data architecture experience developing reference architectures, data flows and data integration, and data quality solutions designs appropriate for near real-time data needs in both operational and analytic data environments.
- Data warehouse and business intelligence (BI) design experience, data warehouse and data lake environment - GCP and Big Query.
- Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models in support of a data warehouse system.
- Creation and updating of all relevant documentation and specifications for design, development and testing.
- Conduct various formal reviews and participate in lifecycle reviews.
- Participate in capacity planning for all layers in the BI technology stack.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- A clear understanding of metadata concepts including technical/business content and data lineage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 15 + years of experience in Enterprise Data Management, ETL Data Modeling, and Development.
- Proficiency in Informatica.
- Solid functional knowledge of IT processes and data, including workflows.
- Demonstrable extensive experience with database design, structure, functions, and processes.
- Effective time management and project prioritization skills to meet established deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A creative problem-solving approach.
Preferred
- Experience with Fivetran or another integration tool.
- Experience with GCP and Tableau.
- Additional experience with Oracle Database, Python, or R.
