Join us! GoFundMe is seeking our next Staff Product Manager who believes in the impact of GoFundMe and is passionate about our mission to help people help others. We are seeking a strategic and innovative Product Manager to focus on building new Donor Experiences on GoFundMe to drive donor acquisition, enhance donor engagement, and foster long-term retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management with a passion for creating user-centric experiences and driving platform growth. The scope of this role may include:

Build experiences that drive Donor engagement and retention:

  • Help Donors realize their place in the giving community and create habits to encourage a long lasting relationship within the community
  • Enhance search functionality to help donors discover causes and fundraisers that resonate with them.
  • Use machine learning to offer personalized fundraiser recommendations based on donor behavior and preferences.
  • Develop centralized cause hubs (e.g., disaster relief) to streamline discovery and engagement for donors on GoFundMe.
  • Leverage gamification elements such as badges, milestones, and leaderboards to create growth loops.
  • Implement a loyalty program that rewards repeat donations and long-term engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise : 8+ years of product management experience, with an expertise on building end user experiences that increase engagement and retention.
  • Customer empathy : You start with the customer first, understanding them, empathizing with their experience, and driving relentlessly to improve it
  • Craft : You have strong design principles, technical and analytical skills. You can work with designers and engineers to influence the product to address user needs with the ability to run A/B experiments, interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Execution : You deliver. You have a good grip on the project related aspects of your product (time, quality, resources, and scope), you maximize your resources for impact, and you think about the long term needs and are able to balance those with short term gains and speed to market.
  • Team orientation : You mobilize others. You execute by enabling alignment, garnering support and unity, and executing through efficient collaborate across teams and business areas

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $220,000 - $300,000 + equity + benefits. The salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
