Description
MISSION : Provide support to the Warehouse team by coordinating office and shipping activities to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Including the following, other duties may be assigned.
  • Able to drop daily customer orders.
  • Able to manage SAP and to run daily schedule reports.
  • Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed between warehouses.
  • Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
  • Sorting and building orders to loads (pool loads) adding Pro-stickers for Carriers and building a daily scheduled based on TMS/SAP.
  • Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
  • Ensure required material for customer orders are requested with enough time in advance in order to be able to ship on time and complete.
  • Reception of drivers, matching Pick-up Numbers/ assigned drivers a door or waiting time based on our current schedule.
  • Be able to set Appointments with Carriers (24-48 hours ahead of time.
  • Keep a good record keeping of files, old orders, and all kind of inbounds or deliveries Paperwork/Bill of landing.
  • Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via SAP, Excel or Word
  • Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
  • Weighing and counting items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
  • Completing requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
  • Preparing parcels for mailing.
  • Sweeping, dusting, and mopping (work Area)
  • Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness.
  • Wearing the proper safety equipment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
