Job Location: Chicago, IL

MSCI, Inc. seeks a VP, Midwest ESG & Climate Sales to manage a portfolio of approximately 90 Asset Management & Wealth Management clients, with full responsibility for revenue generation and retention related to MSCI’s ESG & Climate data.

Responsibilities

1. Manage a portfolio of Asset Management & Wealth Management clients.
2. Generate and retain revenue related to MSCI’s ESG & Climate data.
3. Work with the Investment Management & Wealth Management industry, including portfolio construction, risk management, and product design.
4. Utilize experience with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Climate data in the investment management industry.
5. Support Asset Managers to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory framework on Sustainable investments.
6. Travel nationally as required (10% travel).

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a related field, and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Additional Qualifications

1. Experience working with commercial contracts and specifically related to Intellectual Property rights.
2. Understanding the internal structure of investment, research, and compliance teams within Asset Management firms.
3. Ability to develop Sustainability & Climate solutions that fit client needs.
4. Experience identifying how Asset Managers ingest and integrate ESG, Sustainability & Climate data.

Telecommuting and/or work from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to the work site.

Offered salary is between $162,000 and $162,000 per year, for a 40-hour work week.
