Job Requirements / Description

The Plant Operations Director at Cherrywood Village is responsible for the general maintenance of the community including all common areas, resident apartments, grounds, equipment, and mechanical systems, and for driving the community vehicles. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for community operation. Incorporates the Generations Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Requirements:

  • Two or more years experience working in a facilities maintenance position with progressive responsibilities or in a related field.
  • Ability to locate problems and arrive at solutions as swiftly as possible.
  • Familiar with tools and know carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and safety, understanding all tasks must be completed in conformity with company policies and procedures and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Ability to read, write, communicate, and follow written and oral instructions in the English language.
