Trademark Attorney - Chicago

Our client is a top firm, seeking an experienced Trademark Associate in Chicago. This position will involve training and supervising junior associates. Compensation is competitive for the Chicago market, with opportunities to earn significant bonuses.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of trademark experience including trademark prosecution; performing trademark searches and clearance opinions; trademark and copyright enforcement/litigation; domain name disputes; counseling clients building and enforcing trademark portfolios; handle trademark opposition proceedings, federal and state litigation, and other dispute forums; manage domestic and international trademark portfolios; counseling and handling disputes related to advertising, contests, promotions and sweepstakes.
• Bar admission in Illinois (or able to become admitted in Illinois qualified to sit for the Illinois bar exam).
• Pharmaceutical experience a plus; anti-counterfeiting experience a plus.
• Prior work experience as a USPTO trademark examiner is a plus.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills.
